Boat Cam is a totally portable and battery operated stand alone alarm system with a big difference. Built into the alarm motion sensor is a colour covert pinhole camera so in the event of say a cabin or galley intrusion, not only will a 12V alarm and/or flashing strobe be activated but the camera will also take a series of high resolution motion activated pictures which it will store internally.
The camera can be powered by a 12V DC plug pack or mini slar panel however the Boat Cam is also supplied with a rechargeable Lithium battery which will function for up to 6 weeks on one charge in stanby mode. If shore power is available then the battery and device can be permanently charged and armed.
With a supplied 2GB SD memory card built into the unit, Boat Cam can store up to 65,000 time and date stamped images. Also available with Infra Red (IR) for night vision.
Our newer and recently released indoor/outdor IR camera is available with a built in GSM modem. In other words if an alarm is activatd or unauthorised motion is detected, the camera can send images via GSM to a remote server (mobile phone alert) and the user will be able to login to a specific website to view and download images. A monthly fee applies for this service.
