Wow check this out! This is a super high resolution digital recorder actually built into a toy model car as pictured. It's very small more or less like a matchbox toy car but that's about the only connection to a toy. It's quite solid and can be played with but just thinking about the applications for a device such as this. We often receive enquiries from divorced or separated parents and parents need to share child custody. For whatever reason (it's none of our business) there may be issues where child abuse is of concern to one parent or the other. it doesn't have to be parents of course it may be a carer but that is beside the point.
The point is that you as a parent are clearly concerned for the child's well being and in this regard perhaps a toy such as this (don't tell the child of course) could carry the spy hidden camera (does audio and/or video) and it will record on one battery charge for about 2 hours. The 2 hours may be more than enough for your needs as when the child returns home with the toy Car DVR, you can take over when the time is right. Simply connect the Car DVR to your PC or laptop. We supply the USB lead. At the same time the PC will recharge the internal car battery. View and listen to whatever the Car DVR recorded. You can set the Car DVR ro record either constantly, record when motion is detected or if preferred record audio only and noise or voices will trigger recording as well. So there are plenty of solutions.
The other option is to just remove the hidden internal micro SD memory card and with a USB memory card reader, view listen, copy and save the recording direct to your PC Hard Drive for viewing later. It's all relatively easy to do and most modern computers support this type of device.
