It's fundamentally important that CCTV cameras chosen for bus and other mobile security needs are designed to withstand constant shock and vibration as standard CCTV cameras are not designed for that purpose and will ultimately fail apart within a short time. The mobile CCTV cameras featured on this page are weather-proof (all rubber sealed) shock and vibration proof, available in high and extra high resolution 420 and 520 TVL, all metal casing thus vandal resistant, with or without (IR) and with or without audio.

Product Description

The cameras featured are specifically designed for mobile surveillance. The Rear View Camera or Reversing Camera is totally weather and vandal proof and available with or without Infra Red (IR) and/or audio. The same type of camera can be used for side views with special mounting brackets and angled lens.

The Wedge Camera is mainly for indoor use and available with wide angle 2.8mm lens, 3.6mm standard lens and up to 12mm by order. This camera is also metal housing with audio so ideal for a drivers view and passengers entering or leaving the vehicle. The main application of course is bus surveillance however the same type of camera can be used for any mobile need.

Tested in Australia with remote access using the 3G Network our Mobile DVR system was able to video stream at 20fps on a single channel so very close to real time remote monitoring. The 3G network significantly outperformed GPRS.
