The Marineboy kit is a fully self contained. Only power source is required. The camera itself operates on 12 volt DC, and can be used separately from the brief case system. The brief case kit requires a AC220 volt power source via a normal IEC lead (power point), weather this be by a normal power point connection or an inverter. The 17" LCD display screen is operated by remote control and allows you to see the high resolution image that the camera supplies. The cable length is 100m which is conveniently on an inbuilt reel. The system has video output so all or any video footage can be recorded onto a handy camera, VCR, DVD recorder, laptop etc

The camera module is a 1/3" sony chip set offering an extremely high resolution image for clear and brilliant colours. There are x15 white LEDS inbuilt into the housing of the camera which allows for colour images in complete darkness. Unlike InfraRed models the images remains colour and does not turn to a black and white picture in low light. This cleverly designed housing and weight structure allows for easy use in deep water surveying.

The camera can be used and purchased individually for other applications. A spare lead of 2m with a BNC and power plug on the end is supplied for this purpose. The camera can be utilized in many other applications other than deep sea viewing eg, plumbing, cavity inspections, mechanical applications and airplane fuselage inspections. The high quality image offers great results with all these uses. The camera casing is water proof and crush proof, this is also an ideal camera for sports use ie: helmet cameras
