Our cameras are water proof Sony CCD with high resolution NOT CMOS low res cameras, check the competition! Our camera specs are direct and true figures direct from the factory who make them for us. You will see many companies stating that they have "Sony Supa HAD" bullet cameras, but cameras with this loosely used 'title' can be purchased from cheap factories in China.
Our cameras come from a factory who make them purely for helmet camera use, they have triple the solder on the circuitry board and are quoted as TRUE TV LINES not "scanning system lines. As an example, a 480 TV line camera is 625 'scanning system' lines -
PAL: 752(H)X582(V) and some sellers will quote their cameras to be 625 lines of resolution, so although them quoting 625 lines is correct, it is a little deceiving if you don't realise the difference. Our issue with this is that its like have two indenticle looking comodores side by side, both with V8 motors and although they are both V8's one is a 253 and the other is a supercharged 454, but you wouldnt know by looking at them. Get our drift yet?
Our highest resolution camera which is 560 TRUE TV lines PAL : 768(H)X594(V) is one of the highest resolution cameras on the market and is certainly the highest resolution helmet camera on the Australian Market. Our cameras also have the inline quick release, stainless steel connection (not plastic)
