Do you have an alarm system in your home, office or business premises? If so then you also have alarm motion sensors commonly referred to as PIR's or Passive Infra-red Red. PIR's are cabled to the alarm panel and supplied with 12V battery power. If you have an alarm system then you have done the right thing by providing added peace of mind knowing that your alarm can be remotely monitored or in certain circumstances will frighten off intruders if activated.

Would it therefore also make sense to have a pinhole or covert camera hiden INSIDE the PIR motion sensor? Answer OF COURSE YES!! If an alarm was triggered for whatever reason, wouldn't you want to know who or what triggered the alarm in the first instance? Just because an alarm was activated doesn't necessarily mean your precious belongings are safe by any means. Smash and grabs are common and it happens to banks, car yards, jewellery shops, pharmacies and basically any business or home with valuables inside. These "smash & grab" robberies often occur at any time day or night even with people present.

As mentioned previously, your alarm system already has alarm motion sensors so why not either replace 1 or 2 existing PIR's with our Hidden Camera ALARM PIR CAMERA or simply add our PIR Cameras into your alarm system.

This remarkable device is a fully functional PIR but when an alarm is activated or motion detected, for whatever reason, the inbuilt colour pinhole CCD camera will take a series of pre programmed still pictures all time and date stamped. The picture quality is very high and excellent even in low light conditions. So, whilst the alarm did not prevent the robbery or attempted break-in, our PIR Security Camera captured the lot and saved it to the internal memory. It can take high resolution time & date stamped pictures as fast as 2 per second and the recording duration can be set by you.

The palm-sized Alarm PIR Cam is small, light and portable. Its wire-free design makes it easy to mount anywhere. You can arm/disarm PIR Alarm Cam with a supplied wireless remote control or schedule it to switch on/off automatically at times that you choose. In other words this hidden spy camera has scheduled recording capability and ideal for any indoor or outdoor surveillance requirement.

If you suspect something is missing or damaged, simply view the images taken by the Alarm Cam to see what happened and who did it. The Police then have a much better chance of recognising the thieves and recovering your treasured valuables.

All recorded pictures from the security camera are time and date stamped and digitally watermarked for authenticity.

The Alarm PIR Cam is a direct replacement for existing alarm system motion detectors. Alarm systems are wonderful provided the culprit is apprehended but would it also make more sense to enable the PIR or motion sensor to ACTUALLY RECORD with high quality pictures depicting just who or what triggered the alarm in the first instance. The Alarm Cam is an active PIR as well as a hidden spy camera and in this regard it can function very well as both.

There are actually two options for this security camera. If you already have an alarm or are preparing to install one, you will have PIR motion sensors anyway. Simply replace your PIR with our device or add our PIR into the alarm system. Without all the bells and whistles, when you arm the alarm system, our Alarm PIR Cam is armed as well and when you disarm the alarm, so our surveillance camera will disarm. This is the basic model with no remote control or battery etc. It uses the 12V power already supplied to your existing non camera PIR's. The basic unit is also cheaper at $550.00 Inc GST. Just reading this article you know it makes sense yet so few add that extra little security when installing an alarm which could mean so much as an alarm will not necessarily preclude a robbery but the ability to ID the culprits could be so valuable to Police and the judicial system.

If on the other hand you prefer the same camera with built in battery or mains power, plus remote control etc for complete Standalone operation, then our Intruder Cam is the next option. Intruder Cam costs a little more but otherwise exactly the same but with the ability to move it anywhere you desire.

Customised image-capture sequence & Pre-Trigger image capture Event-Triggered or Time-Lapse camera modes. The external trigger input with Flexible scheduler for independent arming and disarming of camera is sensational. Ideal even in low light situations.
